4 Way-cheat days work not for nutrition - health

"If fraud is not, do not try!"

Or so the saying goes.

With diet, typically a "cheat day" is, if you a strict diet to follow 6 days of the week, but on the seventh day of your choice you can "pig out", and eat what you want! Many people swear by you this method to lose weight and stay fit. But does it work?

I say no. I think it can "work" is temporary, but doomed to failure in the long run. Here is the reason:

(1) With a cheat day is to say that you "on a diet". If you are on a diet, it is very easy to jump this diet! And diets do not work - stay most people not using them, because they have conditioned is actually not the food that they eat to be healthy. Their diet immediately cheats says that you do not want the way 6 days a week and on the seventh day is food you eat, when to enjoy themselves!

2) Each CARB inclinations had probably before start this diet will not go away. So if you love ice cream and save it for your cheat day, each time when the wonderful sugar and milk scarf joy, you are your sucht-Retriggering and soon have small cheats on your not cheat days and the end, that is!

3. Cheat are inherently days unhealthy days. If you feed you are healthy, low carb 6 days of the week, then your body with insulin-spiking desserts and alcohol a day flood, it will take you a day or two, only to of your cheat day to recover! Sounds, that healthy?

(4) Most of the people be to cheat with sugar. The problem is that sugar is really hard on your immune system - so if garbage you "it even one day a week throw are", you are more prone to colds, Flus and other diseases.

So what do?

Now, I eat healthy, but I also "cheating" on a regular basis. will have a square or two dark chocolate several times a week. I need a beer here and there. But I do not call it was. I call it healthy, is not always crazy, and most of all being on a diet!

As a whole follow the 80 / 20 or 85 / 15 principle. This means, eat the healthy foods 80 or 85% of the time, but be relaxed, have your cheat food here and there, but not all at once! In the course of time, you start also healthy food yearn the more you eat it.
