The associations between fast-food researchers examined restaurant data availability by food intake and weight between African Americans in the southeastern of United States. The population for example contain 4,740 African American Jackson heart study participants. While no consistent associations between fast-food restaurant availability and body mass index or waist observed, researchers report, greater availability of fast-food restaurant with higher energy absorption in men and women younger than 55 years was even after the adjustment for individual socio-economic status.
