Gastric bypass surgery and type 2 diabetes: If diet is not enough (ContributorNetwork)

A recent study of gastric bypass surgery (aka bariatric surgery, gastric stapling or banding) reduced incidence of type 2 diabetes linked. GBP reduces the amino acids in circulation and improves the response of the body to insulin.

Diabetes includes a resistance to insulin. Type 1 diabetes can at any age, but usually shows up in childhood occur as juvenile diabetes; Type 2 diabetes usually shows up after 45 years and is more of a lifestyle-based diabetes.

The two types of diabetes can (Type1) nature vs. nurture (type 2) are called. Type 2 diabetes is much more often. Both types of diabetes are hereditary. Some ethnic groups such as shade Hispanic, African American and Native American are prone to diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is by poor nutrition, high sugar, consume processed foods, fatty foods and dairy. Lack of exercise and physical activity is also. Overweight patients (especially those with excess stomach FAT) are prone to type 2 diabetes. However, thin people, especially older people, diabetes can develop.

Amino acids are made almost half of the nutrients in our food. High degree of amino acids, branched-chain are called with type 2 diabetes amino acids. Amino acids are essential for good health; However they reduce sensitivity to insulin for diabetics.

Stomach bypass areas off part of the stomach, stapling or banding and stomach reducing size. Studies have shown that the gastric bypass of amino acids in the context of diabetes reduced levels of these diets. Patients insulin levels were lost by an equal amount of weight, compared to GBP and diets. Gastric bypass had improved insulin sensitivity of patients.

Another problem for certain obese people is that their body hormones, them to say, when they are full. They lack the sense of the saturation. The gastric bypass surgery patients start often restore these hormones. Curbing hunger Pang is part of the successful diets. Stomach you banding helps weight lose weight not only obese people, but keep it out.

Quite clearly still not only why gastric bypass in reducing the type 2 diabetes was successful. Maybe do it with the fact that our food as a whole is not nutritionally adequate. We have not only to consume, but also to produce too much unhealthy food and not enough nutrition food.

We eat more meat, fatty foods, and dairy products than ever before. We eat less fresh food and vegetables. We eat in restaurants more often. We drink more soda than water.

Our foods are bleached, dyed and artificially flavored. We eat with additional growth hormones, steroids, preservatives, antibiotics, chemicals and high amounts of Transfat. Our diet is based on packaged, processed, and eating more than ever set up.

GBP surgery can help, weight loss and type 2 diabetes, but it is not a magic cure-all. Before you choose this expensive and complicated procedure, patients need to lifestyle changes by increasing exercise level and cleaning up the diet. After gastric bypass patients keep exercise and healthy eating. Otherwise, the lap-band is only a band-aid.
