Scientists of the University of Cincinnati and colleagues studied mice late in pregnancy either their first or fourth pregnancy. In the fourth pregnancy, serious glucose intolerance and excess fatty tissue had while those in their first pregnancy had no glucose intolerance and had less fat.
In addition the adipose tissue in increases in several inflammation significant mice in the fourth pregnancy had called called Cytokines and a collection of inflammatory response in connection with white blood cell macrophages causing chemicals.
Repeated cytokine the inflammation, the cardio vascular health fluctuations during pregnancy may be residual, affects the study.
When these changes occur also in humans, women with multiple pregnancies can be increased risk of plaque build up in the arteries, obesity and diabetes, the researchers concluded.
The study was planned for Friday at the American Heart Association atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology 2011 scientific sessions in Chicago will be presented.
Because this study in a medical meeting was presented, the data should be made and the conclusions as provisional considered will be published to in a peer-review journal.
